The Statement dual mono balanced linestage is a result of years of intensive research
directed at attaining the most accurate reproduction of recorded
music. Unique topology and application of the most
advanced technological resources and processes bring the Purity
Statement to a threshold of excellence in sound reproduction.
The Purity Statement
utilizes all the advanced features one would come to expect from
a world class product..
The Statement brings to the table Bybee Purifiers (silver units
in the Silver Statement) in the input signal
path and full silver/Teflon wiring throughout. Bybee Purifiers are also found in each of
the two power supplies prior to the rectification circuit for
the ultimate in residual noise filtering. Teflon
tube sockets and a silver plated wired power supply, including
filament circuitry, and umbilical connection cord are also found
in the PSS enhancements. The Statement is also equipped
with Cryogenic Treated Silver audiophile fuses.
The Statement
has a unique employment of output gain selection. rather than installed sonic
purity robbing resistors in the signal path, Purity Audio Design has come up
with a unique way of obtaining six output gain levels using specially design
autoformers as not to impart of the sonic integrity of the circuit or degrading
impedance interactions.
A
distinctive feature of the Purity Statement setting it apart
from it's competition are its full dual
mono power supplies found in a separate chamber located in an
outboard chassis (shown at right) also meant to act as a base for the analog
chassis. Our power supplies are choke filtered and use
only polypropylene filter capacitor banks. To add to it's main features, the
Purity Statement utilizes transformer coupling at both the
input and output with full silver transformers used in the
Silver Statement. Transformer coupling output results in a low output impedance
making for better integration with any type of amplifier.
Highest quality acrylic encapsulated "Purity Caps"
made by Clarity Cap and then Bypassed with
V-Cap TFTF (Teflon) capacitors are used in
the final stage of the circuit. Attenuation is handled by a
balanced autoformer design with Bybee purifiers at the
input. Silver Bybee Purifiers are utilized in the Silver
Statement. Extraordinary transparency of perceived
sound which in turn assures the recreation of a three
dimensional soundstage.
Extensive research, testing
and listening led us to a unique, innovative design that
achieves very low distortion and wide bandwidth without the need
for negative feedback which destroys transient purity.
The full function remote
handles volume, mute, balance, source select and phase as well
as being able to completely turn off the display. A very
precise autoformer attenuation provide 1dB increments. All
remote features can be used both in active and passive mode.
Another unique feature of
the Statement is it's fully transformer coupled, balanced passive mode.
The Statement's passive mode provides greater detail, resolution and
transparency than any other passive device on the market at it still routes the
signal through the input and output transformers, Bybee
Purifiers and of course the wonderful sounding Autoformers. Copper transformers
and Bybee Purifiers are used in the Statement with all silver units used in the
Silver Statement
All Purity
Products can be configured to run with the following mains voltages: 110V- 117V
or 220V-240V. Primary voltages are factory wired so let your dealer know what
voltage arrangement you need at time of ordering.
As with all Purity Series
products, the remote circuit has been granted it's own dedicated power supply
including a separate, standalone power transformer as not to interfere at all
with the analog circuit.
