Purity Power

Our "Purity Power" power supplies are intended to replace the cheap wall wart or other inferior power supplies that are provided with many of today's audio gear. Our power supplies are designed for those products requiring a DC power ranging from 5-24VDC with a current rating up to 1.4A. Higher current ratings available per special order.

We can often provide you with dual power supplies or balanced power supplies within a single chassis if you have more than one product requiring external power supplies or a product requiring both positive and negative rails.

Our custom design incorporates a tightly regulated linear power supply featuring low noise, high current Fairchild "Ultra Fast - Soft Recovery" rectifier diodes, low noise, low drop-out voltage Super regulators,  low impedance Elna filter capacitors and a high-current-low-noise-toroidal transformer. Our power supplies have very low ripple measurement under full load resulting in very quiet operation with plenty of reserve current for exceptional dynamics.

Additional features of our power supplies is the use of Vishay/Dale 1% metal film resistors, Wima polypropylene bypass capacitors, and a new heavier gauge umbilical cable between the power supply and audio component.

The sonic results include a very low noise floor resulting in a blacker background with excellent low level  detail and resolution as well as improved dynamic due to increased headroom. You will also experience an expanded soundstage along with deeper and tighter bass.

All Purity Power supplies are equipped with an IEC unit allowing the user to utilize a detachable power cord of their choice.

All of our power supplies are housed in a custom acrylic enclosure matching the Purity Audio Design Series.

If you have a product that requires an outboard power supply, especially those nasty wall warts, we have a power supply to fit your needs.

Purity Power supplies are available in international voltages. All power supplies are factory wired for their destination country. Any alteration to the transformer primary wiring not performed at the Purity Audio Design facility will void the warranty.

• You may send the product to us at our New York facility but it is not necessary for most products.
