Optional Phono Stage - Coming soon

The vacuum tube phono circuit is a zero feedback, perfect RIAA curve using a 12AX7 input and 12AU7 output tubes providing plenty of gain for all MM and high output MC phono cartridges. Total phono gain including the analog section is 50-55dB.

The phono section is granted its own dedicated power supply which contains a host of high quality components including its own dedicated high current toroidal transformer. High quality, low ESR capacitors are used for the main filter capacitors in the power supply, Ultra Fast - Soft Recovery diodes are used as well as independent transformers for the B+ and filament supplies. The same high quality diodes are used in our custom rectifying bridge used in the DC supply for the tube filaments.

The Basis II comes standard in an aluminum chassis with laser engraved front panel markings.

The wood chassis version for the Basis MKII is hand built of solid hardwoods with laser engraved acrylic front and rear panels making the Basis a beautiful enhancement to any decor.  This elegant twin chassis design is a very low maintenance product allowing you to spend all your time enjoying the music. The half size twin chassis can be stacked for a smaller footprint, set side-by-side for a conventional sized component or placed on separate shelves to accommodate your installation needs.

The two 6SN7 vacuum tubes protrude through the top of the unit allowing you to tube swap without having to remove a bunch of screws to take a cover off. With only two tubes protruding from the top of the unit, re-tubing or tube rolling in the Basis is easy and affordable.
